Julien Cossé is Chief Strategy Officer of Nord Pool, part of the Euronext Group. Nord Pool is the leading power market operator in Europe, offering trading, clearing, settlement and associated services in both day-ahead and intraday markets across Europe.
Julien's department oversees corporate strategy and M&A, product and services management, and business development across all markets and geographies where Nord Pool operates. Mr Cossé has 20 years of experience in the energy sector and has held several positions (Powernext, AFRY management consulting, Capgemini Invent). His areas of expertise are European market design and regulation (power and gas), business development, M&A and growth strategy.
Julien holds two master degrees, one in engineering (Ecole Nationale d'Arts et Métiers, Paris) one in business (HEC Paris). Based in Oslo, Julien is also a Foreign Trade Foreign Advisor to the French Embassy in Norway.
