Dr. Michael Schreiber is Head of Flex for the German market at Octopus Energy. In this role, he oversees the portfolio of customers with flexible assets, including electric vehicles, heat pumps, and home storage batteries, and develops products for these customers. Dr. Schreiber brings 15 years of expertise in energy markets, virtual power plants, product management and holds a PhD in electrical engineering. Through his work, he drives innovative energy solutions that are reshaping the future of sustainable energy.

Janosch Balke is Product Manager for Energy Services at Viessmann Climate Solutions. With a Master's degree in Energy and Process Engineering from Technische Universität Berlin, he brings expertise in energy economics, and knowledge about electrical flexibility of residential assets to his role. Janosch Balke has been involved in the launch of financial optimization for Viessmann devices based on electricity tariffs as well as the ViShare Flexmodus, a product designed to help heat pumps contribute to power grid stabilization. His current focus is on product management, specifically ensuring end-to-end value delivery of optimization services to consumers within the German and European market.

Tarvo Õng is the founder of Fusebox, leading the charge in Virtual Power Plants (VPP) and Energy Management. With 11+ years in energy and 25+ in international trade, he knows how the power market works and how to fix it. He has seen firsthand how energy flexibility is changing the game, helping renewables, consumers, and the grid work together while replacing fossil fuel peaker plants. Under his leadership, Fusebox's tech is already powering major European utilities. José Queirós de Almeida - CEO Greenvolt Communities. Founder and CEO of Greenvolt Comunidades (Greenvolt Group), national and international leader in solutions for Energy Communities and Collective Self-Consumption of Energy. More than 20 years of international experience in renewable energy (Greenvolt Comunidades, Ideatest, Eesti Energia, EDP Energias de Portugal, OMIP/MIBEL), in different markets (Portugal, Spain, Estonia, Sweden, Finland, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania), including Distributed Solar, Electric Mobility, Energy Efficiency, IoT Platforms, etc.. Degree and postgraduate degree in Business Law (Coimbra University). MBA from LisboaMBA/UCLA Anderson Management School. DBA (PhD) from Nottingham Trent University in Management.

Michael Villa is Executive Director of smartEn - Smart Energy Europe, the European business association integrating the decentralized solutions of the clean energy transition. He joined smartEn in 2018 when he led the advocacy efforts as Head of Policy. Before joining smartEn, he worked as Senior Consultant to provide specific advocacy support to clients both in the EU and Middle East in the energy sector. Among others, he led the Secretariat of a cross-sectorial business organisation, the European Alliance to Save Energy (EU-ASE), and supported Knauf Insulation as Public Affairs Adviser in Italy. Michael worked also in the European Parliament for a Cypriot MEP and at the Embassy of Italy in Copenhagen during the UN Climate Change Conference COP15. Michael has a Master at the Institute for European Studies in Brussels and a bachelor degree from the Catholic University of Milan.

Julien Cossé is Chief Strategy Officer of Nord Pool, part of the Euronext Group. Nord Pool is the leading power market operator in Europe, offering trading, clearing, settlement and associated services in both day-ahead and intraday markets across Europe. Julien's department oversees corporate strategy and M&A, product and services management, and business development across all markets and geographies where Nord Pool operates. Mr Cossé has 20 years of experience in the energy sector and has held several positions (Powernext, AFRY management consulting, Capgemini Invent). His areas of expertise are European market design and regulation (power and gas), business development, M&A and growth strategy. Julien holds two master degrees, one in engineering (Ecole Nationale d'Arts et Métiers, Paris) one in business (HEC Paris). Based in Oslo, Julien is also a Foreign Trade Foreign Advisor to the French Embassy in Norway.
